\ud83c\udf0d Bilaspur, September 28, 2026: Deputy Chief Minister and Bilaspur district in-charge minister Arun Sao reviewed preparations for various programmes and activities to be organized under the Seva Sankalp Campaign during a meeting held at the Manthan Conference Hall of the District Office on Sunday.During the meeting, Deputy CM Sao directed officials to ensure that all programmes are conducted successfully with extensive public participation. Nodal officers presented details of the proposed activities and preparations made so far through a PowerPoint presentation.Sao said that in line with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, the Seva Sankalp Campaign is not limited merely to organizing programmes. It is a commitment to make governance and administration more sensitive, accountable and service-oriented towards the people.He emphasized that the objective should not be limited to conducting events, but to ensure that the purpose behind every activity reaches the ground through active public participation. He also directed officials to coordinate closely with public representatives and organizational workers.Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra to Be Held Across Four Development BlocksDeputy CM Sao directed that Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatras be organized on October 7 in the Masturi, Bilha, Kota and Takhatpur development blocks.The yatras will pass through every gram panchayat, carrying the message of service, dedication and nation-building. Officials were instructed to ensure proper route planning, security arrangements and public participation.The yatras will culminate at Bahatrai Stadium in Bilaspur, where a public gathering will be organized. Arrangements will also be made for people to listen to the Prime Minister’s address to the nation.Rangoli and Angan Milan Seva Programmes to Encourage ParticipationUnder the theme \u201cSeva Ka Rang, Rashtra Ke Sang\u201d, Deputy CM Sao directed all urban local bodies, Janpad Panchayats and Gram Panchayats to organize attractive and meaningful rangoli activities.He instructed officials to ensure participation of women’s self-help groups, schoolgirls and Anganwadi workers.The \u201cAngan Milan Seva\u201d programme at Anganwadi centres will be organized as a community-focused event, with participation of pregnant women, lactating mothers and adolescent girls.The programme will include health check-ups, nutrition counselling and information about various government welfare schemes.Daily Sports Activities Emphasized in SchoolsDeputy CM Sao stressed the importance of sports in the overall development of children. He said that along with academic education, regular physical and sports activities are essential for children’s development.He directed all schools to ensure a daily sports period and regular sports practice.Cleanliness Drive to Be Held at Government Offices on October 1Under the theme \u201cSeva Mera Yogdan\u201d, a comprehensive cleanliness drive will be conducted at all government offices on October 1.Deputy CM Sao directed officials to ensure cleanliness both inside and outside government offices. A special cleanliness campaign will also be conducted at major ghats along the Arpa River.Collector Sanjay Agarwal briefed the meeting about preparations for the upcoming activities under the Seva Sankalp Campaign.The meeting was attended by MLAs Dharamlal Kaushik and Sushant Shukla, Mayor Pooja Vidhani, District Panchayat President Rajesh Suryavanshi, BJP District President Deepak Thakur, Mohit Jaiswal, SSP Rajnesh Singh, Municipal Commissioner Prakash Sarvey, District Panchayat CEO Sandeep Agarwal, and nodal officers responsible for various programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
